Importance of Entrepreneurship

Importance of Entrepreneurship for Kids | Dan Miller + Joanne Miller

As parents, we often discuss the importance of entrepreneurship for our kids.  Our dinner table is filled with discussion topics like: “how to make money as a kid”, “ways for kids to make money”, and “entrepreneur games” when our kids were younger.  Now they are in their late teens, we changed the discussion to “youth entrepreneurship” and what are the best entrepreneur books, or even “steps to financial freedom”.

I often said Entrepreneurship is an inner game, is the best personal development journey we can experience.  It cannot just be taught, but it needed to be experienced personally.

Today, I invited two of my entrepreneurial mentors – Dan Miller, author of the best-selling book 48 Days to the Work You LoveNo More Dreaded Mondays, and Wisdom Meets Passion; and his lovely wife Joanne Miller to share wisdom with us.  Both of them are successful entrepreneurs and raised a family of entrepreneurs, including their young grandchildren as young as the age of 9.

More importantly, the lessons they shared about how they built the haven of peace for their family as entrepreneurs are worth of gold.

Also, this video is so precious to me.  We met in a conference, and they agreed to come on my THEN yet to launch the podcast, you will see we three people squeezed in a small hotel room to record this episode for you.  The amount of love from them to be willing to support the upcoming leaders are evident, it humbled me!  And for you as my tribe, we cannot go more real and raw than this.  I hope you will cherish this as much as I did.
