When it comes to build network marketing success, duplication is the KEY. In order to duplicate, the “system” cannot be complicated.

Before we go further down with this subject, I’d like to let you know few things, first of all, I love online marketing, and I surely enjoy “attracting leads” to my funnel.  However, being online is just ONE of many ways you can build your network marketing business, and online marketing is not an easy route to start with for your new teammates in many cases. Think about it, how many things your new teammates need to learn about the business itself already… not to mention in order to market online, if your new teammate is not that tech savvy to start with, in most case they would get burned out before they get started.

So what I am about to share below is a simple system you can utilize to build your network marketing business regardless online or offline.

1. Networking (on and offline), building list: I am sure you heard the money is on your list.  Well, I’d like to say your money is in your network.  It’s a “Network Marketing” business, so “networking” should be in your gene, naturally to seek opportunity to get to know people, make new friends.  I am not talking to bombard your family and friends, but you need to notify them and let them know what you are involving in. So when opportunity arises, they can recommend people to you as well.  Make networking and build a live list part of your business life.

2. Prospecting/Screening: Let’s face it, not everyone is your qualified prospect.  Ask yourself this question, if you open a traditional business, will you go to hire all your family members and relatives? Probably not, right? Because they might not be the exact candidate you are looking for.  I would not hire my Father-In-Law as my cool tech app store for mobile devices, while he is such an awesome business mentor I look up to, that will surely kill both of us!!!  So why would you try to recruit everyone to your network marketing business?  So go out there building relationship and spot the qualified prospects.

3. Inviting: As you spot on some prospects, you will need to invite them to present the business, either online webinar, offline meetings.  The invitation skills is one of the most important ones you need to master.  It all comes down to your posture!  That’s why “personal development” comes to play a big role in this business.  Let’s say when you are hosting a dinner party, you know the food will be awesome, music will be fantastic, and the follow arrangement will look spectacular! Whoever got invited will have the most memorable dinner experience ever! How will you sound like when you call someone you care to invite them? You would be very confident, full of excitement, with sense of proud I think, right? So the person on the other end of the phone can feel all of it, and cannot wait to come to the party!  So it should be your invitation for your business presentation! 4. Following up: Have you heard of “Money is in the follow up.” ? I’d always remind my teammates, when a prospect doesn’t sign up now, it doesn’t mean he/she will never sign up. To maintain a great relationship is key. Friend first, business second, but do ask their permission and continue dripping exciting news to them. When time is right, harvest will be yours, or others will pick up your fruits, if you don’t follow up. 

5. Enrolling: Be honest, be professional, and be confident.  I have seen too many people fail to “close the deal” after their hard working through all the above process.  Either talk too much while the prospect is filling out the form, or didn’t communicate clearly the process, or again, lack of confidence, ending up ask a close-ended question “So, do you want to join now?” instead of “Let’s get you started”. The answer of a close-ended question is limited to “Yes” and “No”. So when you get a “No” in that question, you give yourself no option to go further, while if you asked/mentioned “Let’s get you started.” If the prospect declined it, you still have a chance to figure WHY they declined, and give yourself a chance to solve the problem.

6. Training: Establish a new team member orientation/training guide online or offline.  So you don’t have to repeat hundreds of time the same thing, and your team also can duplicate it fast.

7. Team Culture Building: We human are creature of “Connection” & “Validation”! As an entrepreneur already is rare breed, let along be a network marketer at the moment.  So to build up a vibrant & supportive team culture is essential to sustain the livelihood of your team.
